Tyler Keegan won the France-Atlanta Humanitarian prize for a French essay about solutions to local and international poverty. He suggested using microcredit and the Internet to promote awareness.
Pascal Le Deunff, Consul General of France in Atlanta recognized Tyler's achievements. Tyler receives an educational trip to France from July 6-16, 2012 sponsored by the Institut Francais and the Foreign Affairs Ministry. France-Atlanta 2012 is an cooperative series involving science, business, cultural and humanitarian endeavors between France and the Southern United States. Co-sponsors are the Consulate General of France in Atlanta and the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Tyler is an eleventh grader in the International Baccalaureate at Campbell High School.
