ASSESSMENT CRITERIA

Your soundtrack will be assessed based on the following core criteria:

Identification of your Voices

o Do your text, lyrics, art and explanations make clear what voices or important event you are representing?

Clarity and Distinctiveness of your Voices

o Do you make clear what your voice is like in the category/event each song represents?

o Can your audience hear you as you would sound in that voice? (Consider characteristics such as choice of words and expression in lyrics, the tone and the level of formality).

Analysis of your voices

o Do you clearly analyze the lyrics?

o Does your analysis explain the voice it reflects and how?

Relevance of content

o Does the content of what you expressed tell something about your culture/voice/life event, or your part in it?

o Does your explanation fit the lyric?

Successful use of form

o Have you organized your soundtrack/lyrics/art/explanations to accurately represent your voices?

o Have you created emphasis through the arrangement of your words and phrases?

Technical form

o Is your final product free of grammatical usage and mechanical errors?
