Take note of how many dialects/varied phrases there are.

Compare the young boy and girl (common modern Japanese) to the Osakan elder gentleman or Samurai in the lower right corner of the character chart.
Choose different phrases from the "choose an expression" link on the bottom left.
See how different his phrases are compared to the boy and girl on the upper left of the character chart.
